The Melba Mustangs basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting North Star Huskies to 39 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Plymouth for a 2A Western Idaho contest on Wednesday, February 7. Melba will battle a Pilgrims team coming off a 70-64 league win over Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID). The Pilgrims record now stands at 16-4.

The Huskies (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID). The Trojans come into the 2A Western Idaho contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Nampa Christian was routed by New Plymouth (New Plymouth, ID), 70-64, in a league contest.
