In Monday's non-league match, the host Sahuaro Cougars basketball team scored a good 59-51 triumph over the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts.

With the defeat, Mica Mountain moves to 22-3 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Rio Rico (Rio Rico, AZ) to meet the Hawks in a 4A Gila match on Tuesday, February 6.
