Wynot Blue Devils (Wynot, NE) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ponca Indians (Ponca, NE), 38-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wynot upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Wayne (Wayne, NE) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Wayne lost 56-44 in their recent non-league bout against Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE)

Next up, the Indians play the Homer Knights (Homer, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Ponca will attempt to upgrade on its 16-1 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 68-27 non-league loss to Pender (Pender, NE).
