Airport Jets (Carleton, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI), 64-43 in a league bout.

With the victory, Airport upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Jets host St. Mary Catholic Central (Monroe, MI) to play the Falcons/Kestrels in a Huron bout on Friday, February 9. The Falcons/Kestrels come into the bout with a record of 13-3. St. Mary Catholic Central won 37-34 in their recent league bout against Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI)

Next up, the Big Reds play the Riverview Pirates (Riverview, MI) in a Huron bout, on Thursday, February 8. Milan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 45-43 league win over Grosse Ile (Grosse Ile, MI).
