Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Central City Bison (Central City, NE) and the visiting Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE), saw Central City's basketball squad hold off Centennial by a tally of 30-23.

With the victory, Central City improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Lakeview (Columbus, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Lakeview lost 41-33 in their recent league challenge against Scotus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Broncos play the Heartland Huskies (Henderson, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Centennial will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 53-39 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Fairfield, NE).
