North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA), 39-35 in a league bout.

With the win, North Allegheny upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Tigers host Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA) to play the Spartans in a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Friday, February 9. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Hempfield Area lost 71-51 in their recent league bout against Butler (Butler, PA)
