February 5, 2024: Onida, SD 57564 Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Stanley County Buffalos (Fort Pierre, SD), 51-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sully Buttes upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Chargers host Mobridge-Pollock (Mobridge, SD) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Mobridge-Pollock won 54-15 in their recent non-league challenge against Timber Lake (Timber Lake, SD)
Next up, the Buffalos confront the Dupree Tigers (Dupree, SD) in a A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Stanley County will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 6-10 record after their 54-16 non-league loss to Harding County (Buffalo, SD).
