North Carolina High School Basketball - South Lenoir succumbs to Kinston
February 5, 2025: Deep Run, NC 28525 In Wednesday's league test, the Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC) basketball squad defeated the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), by a score of 70-50.
Next, the Vikings clash with the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs (Teachey, NC) in a 2A East Central test, on Friday, February 7. Kinston will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 9-5 record after their 76-52 league loss to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC).
The Blue Devils (8-12) will now prepare for their test against East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A East Central test with a 9-8 record. In their last test, East Duplin went down by North Lenoir (LaGrange, NC), 71-39, in a league test.
