The Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL) basketball were winner over the visiting Vanguard Knights (Ocala, FL), 65-51 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 24-2 record. They play next when they travel to Leesburg for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Lecanto will play a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 77-31 non-league win over Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 13-7.

With the loss, Vanguard falls to 13-13 on the campaign.
