Michigan High School Basketball - Quincy holds off Mendon

February 5, 2025: Mendon, MI 49072

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Quincy Orioles basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Mendon Hornets.

The Orioles (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Lions go into the Big 8 contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley nipped Comstock (Kalamazoo, MI), 46-40, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Hornets confront the St. Philip Catholic Central Fighting Tigers (Battle Creek, MI) in a Southern Central - West contest, on Friday, February 7. Mendon will attempt to better on its 8-8 season record. The Fighting Tigers go into the contest with a 13-3 record after their 71-67 league win over Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI).
