Illinois High School Basketball - Metamora routs Pekin
February 5, 2025: Metamora, IL 61548 In Wednesday's league contest, the host Metamora Redbirds basketball team scored a big 63-38 triumph over the Pekin Dragons.
The Redbirds (22-6) will now prepare for their contest against Limestone (Bartonville, IL). The Rockets go into the Mid-Illini contest with a 11-12 record. In their last contest, Limestone was trounced by Morton (Morton, IL), 76-41, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons confront the Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL) in a Mid-Illini contest, on Saturday, February 8. Pekin will attempt to better on its 8-14 season record. The Little Giants go into the contest with a 10-14 record after their 44-29 non-league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
