Washington, DC High School Basketball - Archbishop Carroll holds off Friendship Collegiate Academy

The Archbishop Carroll Lions basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Friendship Collegiate Academy Knights to 49 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now have a 2-16 record. They play next when they travel to The Academy of the Holy Cross for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Archbishop Carroll will confront a Tartans team coming off a 76-50 league loss to Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Tartans record now stands at 7-16.

With the loss, Friendship Collegiate Academy falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Knights host Thurgood Marshall Academy (Washington, DC) to confront the Warriors in a PCSAA game on Thursday, February 6. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 0-5.
