In Wednesday's non-league test, the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad got by the host Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC), by a score of 44-39.

Next, the Cougars encounter the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City test, on Friday, February 7. Chambers will attempt to improve on its 6-14 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 18-2 record after their 79-14 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).

The Pumas (9-13) will now prepare for their test against Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC). The Wolves come into the 4A South Meck test with a 4-18 record. In their last test, Ballantyne Ridge was nipped by Berry (Charlotte, NC), 40-31, in a league test.
