The Myers Park Mustangs basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Palisades Pumas to 44 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 9-11 record. They play next when they host Ardrey Kell for a 4A South Meck game on Tuesday, February 4.

With the loss, Palisades falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Pumas travel to South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Sabres in a 4A South Meck game on Friday, January 31. The Sabres go into the game with a record of 17-3. South Mecklenburg won 69-31 in their recent league game against Berry (Charlotte, NC)
