California High School Basketball - Venice thwarts Los Angeles CES
February 5, 2025: Los Angeles, CA 90066 The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Venice Gondoliers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Los Angeles CES Unicorns (Los Angeles, CA), observed Venice's basketball team knock off Los Angeles CES by a score of 34-23.
The Gondoliers (6-20) will now prepare for their challenge against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats come into the Western challenge with a 5-15 record. In their last challenge, University was knocked off by Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA), 2-0, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Unicorns encounter the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Friday, February 14. Los Angeles CES will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record. The Yankees come into the challenge with a 22-2 record after their 66-21 league win over Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
