February 5, 2025: Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236 University Liggett Knights (Grosse Pointe Woods, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI), 48-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, University Liggett upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Knights host Greenhills (Ann Arbor, MI) to face the Gryphons in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Gryphons enter the match with a record of 6-8. Greenhills lost 59-28 in their recent league match against Everest Collegiate (Clarkston, MI)
The Knights now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Foley for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Shrine Catholic will face a Ventures squad coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Cabrini (Allen Park, MI). The Ventures record now stands at 0-14.
