The Pershing Doughboys basketball team scored 44 points and limited the host University Liggett Knights to 41 in the Doughboys non-league triumph on Friday.

The Doughboys now possess a 18-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shrine Catholic for a non-league game on Monday, March 10. Pershing will play a Knights team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Knights record now stands at 13-10.

With the loss, University Liggett falls to 11-11 on the campaign.
