North Carolina High School Basketball - Swain County trounced by Franklin
February 5, 2025: Franklin, NC 28734 Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Swain County Maroon Devils (Bryson City, NC), 90-22 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Franklin advances its record to 16-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 10-10. West Henderson lost 54-52 in their recent non-league match against North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC)
The Maroon Devils now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsville for a non-league match on Friday, February 7.
