February 5, 2025: Prince George, VA 23875 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) and the host Prince George Royals (Prince George, VA), observed Godwin's basketball team overwhelm Prince George by a score of 71-30.
The Eagles (7-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Deep Run trounced Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA), 62-61, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Royals encounter the Colonial Heights Colonials (Colonial Heights, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 7. Prince George will attempt to improve on its 0-17 season record. The Colonials come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 25-23 non-league win over Southampton (Courtland, VA).
