February 5, 2025: Indian Head, MD 20640 Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD), 47-23 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lackey advances its record to 13-4 on the year. The Chargers travel to McDonough (Pomfret, MD) to meet the Rams in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Rams enter the match with a record of 2-3. McDonough won 53-51 in their recent non-league match against La Plata (La Plata, MD)
The Raiders now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northern for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Leonardtown will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 49-47 non-league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 1-7.
