Maryland High School Basketball - Leonardtown thwarts Northern
February 7, 2025: Leonardtown, MD 20650 The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Leonardtown Raiders (Leonardtown, MD) and the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), observed Leonardtown's basketball team knock off Northern by a score of 65-55.
The Raiders (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-8 record. In their last challenge, Calvert prevailed over Chopticon (Morganza, MD), 47-46, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Patriots encounter the Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 10. Northern will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
