New Mexico High School Basketball - Tohatchi routed by Navajo Prep
February 5, 2025: Farmington, NM 87401 Navajo Prep Eagles (Farmington, NM) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), 79-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Navajo Prep advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 8-5. Thoreau won 47-13 in their recent non-league match against Newcomb (Newcomb, NM)
The Cougars now own a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crownpoint for a non-league match on Friday, February 7.
