February 5, 2026: DeWitt, MI 48820 In Thursday's non-league test, the Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI) basketball squad knocked off the host DeWitt Panthers (DeWitt, MI), by a score of 49-40.
The Quakers now possess a 7-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Johns for a Capital Area - Red bout on Friday, February 6. Eastern will play a Redwings team coming off a 56-38 non-league win over Marshall (Marshall, MI). The Redwings record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, DeWitt falls to 7-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Mason (Mason, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 7. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Mason lost 65-57 in their recent league bout against St. Johns (St. Johns, MI)
