Arizona High School Basketball - Shadow Ridge toppled by West Point

West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) backers were thrilled Thursday as they saw their basketball team topple the visiting Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ), 60-43 in a league game.

The Dragons now have a 18-4 record. They play next when they host Valley Vista for a 6A West Valley game on Friday, February 6. West Point will confront a Monsoon team coming off a 68-55 league win over Apollo (Glendale, AZ). The Monsoon record now stands at 7-13.

With the loss, Shadow Ridge falls to 14-8 on the campaign. The Stallions host Cesar Chavez (Laveen, AZ) to confront the Champions in a non-league game on Friday, February 6. The Champions enter the outing with a record of 8-12. Cesar Chavez lost 66-64 in their recent league outing against Browne (Phoenix, AZ)
