Michigan High School Basketball - Maplewood Baptist Academy crushes Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter
February 6, 2023: Brimley, MI 49715 Maplewood Baptist Academy Black Bears (Kinross, MI) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter (Brimley, MI), 52-19 in a league bout.
With the victory, Maplewood Baptist Academy upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Black Bears host North Michigan Christian Academy (Burt Lake, MI) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Monday, February 13. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 9-6.
Next up, the play the Nah Tah Wahsh (Wilson, MI) in a Northern Lights bout, on Friday, February 10. Bay Mills Ojibwe Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The come into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 85-60 league loss to Big Bay de Noc (Cooks, MI).
