Texas High School Basketball - Lake Worth holds off Castleberry
February 6, 2023: Fort Worth, TX 76114 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Lake Worth Bullfrogs (Lake Worth, TX) and the host Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX), saw Lake Worth's basketball squad hold off Castleberry by a tally of 42-39.
With the victory, Lake Worth improves its record to 19-13 on the campaign. The Bullfrogs host Decatur (Decatur, TX) to confront the Eagles in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 20-11. Decatur won 76-50 in their recent league challenge against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX)
Next up, the Lions confront the Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) in a 4A Region I District 8 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Castleberry will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Porcupines come into the challenge with a 9-19 record after their 66-57 league loss to Krum (Krum, TX).
