New York High School Basketball - Holland knocked off by Griffith Institute
February 6, 2023: Springville, NY 14141 The Griffith Institute Griffins basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Holland Dutchmen to 60 in the Griffins league triumph on Monday.
The Griffins now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland Hill for a Section 6 Erie County IV contest on Wednesday, February 8. Griffith Institute will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 73-43 league win over Tonawanda (Tonawanda, NY). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
The Dutchmen (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Cheektowaga, NY). The Bears enter the Section 6 Erie County IV contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Kennedy was outscored by Alden (Alden, NY), 66-51, in a league contest.
