Florida High School Basketball - Hope Academy holds off Life Christian Academy
February 6, 2023: Groveland, FL 34736 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Hope Academy Trojan Tigers (Groveland, FL) and the visiting Life Christian Academy Lions (Kissimmee, FL), saw Hope Academy's basketball squad hold off Life Christian Academy by a tally of 63-58.
With the victory, Hope Academy improves its record to 11-16 on the campaign. The Trojan Tigers host Reborn Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL) to confront the Knights in a Central Florida Christian challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Reborn Christian Academy lost 68-48 in their recent league challenge against Pathways (Orlando, FL)
Next up, the Lions confront the Florida College Academy Falcons (Temple Terrace, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Life Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 92-13 non-league win over Solid Rock Community (Tarpon Springs, FL).
