Maryland High School Basketball - North East overwhelms Rising Sun
February 6, 2023: North East, MD 21901 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the North East Indians (North East, MD) and the visiting Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD), saw North East's basketball squad wallop Rising Sun by a tally of 71-38.
With the victory, North East improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Elkton (Elkton, MD) to play the Golden Elks in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Golden Elks come into the challenge with a record of 8-2. Elkton won 73-42 in their recent league challenge against Fallston (Fallston, MD)
Next up, the Tigers play the Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Rising Sun will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 66-40 non-league win over Bohemia Manor (Chesapeake City, MD).
