February 6, 2023: Ortonville, MN 56278 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights (Tyler, MN) and the host Ortonville Trojans (Ortonville, MN), saw Russell-Tyler-Ruthton's basketball squad wallop Ortonville by a tally of 88-36.
With the victory, Russell-Tyler-Ruthton improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN) to confront the Sting in a A Section 3 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Sting come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Yellow Medicine East lost 56-46 in their recent league challenge against Minneota (Minneota, MN)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Ortonville will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 68-36 league win over Sisseton (Sisseton, SD).
