Arkansas High School Basketball - Siloam Springs holds off Van Buren
February 6, 2023: Van Buren, AR 72956 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Siloam Springs Panthers (Siloam Springs, AR) and the host Van Buren Pointers (Van Buren, AR), saw Siloam Springs's basketball squad hold off Van Buren by a tally of 36-34.
With the victory, Siloam Springs improves its record to 9-5 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Alma (Alma, AR) to confront the Airedales in a 5A West challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Airedales come into the challenge with a record of 1-13. Alma lost 68-48 in their recent league challenge against Harrison (Harrison, AR)
Next up, the Pointers confront the Greenwood Bulldogs (Greenwood, AR) in a 5A West challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Van Buren will attempt to improve on its 13-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-16 record after their 61-42 league loss to Russellville (Russellville, AR).
