Texas High School Basketball - Frost overwhelms Itasca
February 6, 2023: Frost, TX 76641 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) and the visiting Itasca Wampus Cats (Itasca, TX), saw Frost's basketball squad wallop Itasca by a tally of 53-28.
With the victory, Frost improves its record to 23-9 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Hamilton (Hamilton, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 22-8. Hamilton won 54-24 in their recent league challenge against Italy (Italy, TX)
Next up, the Wampus Cats confront the Rio Vista Eagles (Rio Vista, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Itasca will attempt to improve on its 13-19 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-18 record after their 58-20 league loss to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX).
