Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard South overwhelms Streamwood
February 6, 2023: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Glenbard South Raiders (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Streamwood Sabres (Streamwood, IL), saw Glenbard South's basketball squad wallop Streamwood by a tally of 57-24.
With the victory, Glenbard South improves its record to 23-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Bartlett (Bartlett, IL) to confront the Hawks in a Upstate Eight challenge on Wednesday, February 8. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 7-22. Bartlett lost 61-42 in their recent league challenge against Larkin (Elgin, IL)
Next up, the Sabres confront the Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Streamwood will attempt to improve on its 3-26 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-18 record after their 46-29 league win over Wheaton-Warrenville South (Wheaton, IL).
