The Springfield Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Independence Tigers to 8 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 19-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host French Settlement for a 2A District 7 contest on Thursday, February 9.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Jaguars come into the 2A District 7 contest with a 11-11 record.
