Minnesota High School Basketball - Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton can't hold off Sibley East
February 6, 2023: Arlington, MN 55307 The Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs basketball team (Janesville, MN), was nudged 68-61 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN)
The Wolverines now possess a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Le Sueur-Henderson/Minnesota New Country for a AA Section 2 battle on Thursday, February 9. Sibley East will battle a Giants team coming off a 65-32 league loss to St. Clair (St. Clair, MN). The Giants record now stands at 2-13.
The Bulldogs (8-11) will now prepare for their battle against Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (Waterville, MN). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Waterville-Elysian-Morristown edged Medford (Medford, MN), 71-30, in a league battle.
