February 3, 2023: Arlington, MN 55307 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) and the host Sibley East Wolverines (Arlington, MN), saw Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center]'s basketball squad hold off Sibley East by a tally of 41-38.
With the victory, Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Titans host Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN) to confront the Buccaneers in a AA Section 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 4-12. Blue Earth lost 55-37 in their recent league challenge against Waseca (Waseca, MN)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 6. Sibley East will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 73-71 non-league win over Triton (Dodge Center, MN).
