New York High School Basketball - Monroe-Woodbury holds off Pine Bush
February 6, 2023: Central Valley, NY 10917 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders (Central Valley, NY) and the visiting Pine Bush Bushmen (Pine Bush, NY), saw Monroe-Woodbury's basketball squad hold off Pine Bush by a tally of 53-47.
With the victory, Monroe-Woodbury improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Valley Central (Montgomery, NY) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Valley Central lost 65-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Kingston (Kingston, NY)
Next up, the Bushmen confront the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County I challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Pine Bush will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 65-36 non-league win over Valley Central (Montgomery, NY).
