Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Beaver tops Ambridge
February 6, 2024: Ambridge, PA 15003 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Beaver Bobcats (Beaver, PA) and the host Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), saw Beaver's basketball squad knock off Ambridge by a count of 78-65.
With the victory, Beaver upgrades its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host North Catholic (Cranberry Township, PA) to play the Trojans in a WPIAL 4A 2 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. North Catholic won 103-62 in their recent league challenge against Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA)
Next up, the Bridgers play the Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 2 test, on Thursday, February 8. Ambridge will attempt to advance on its 5-16 season record. The go into the test with a 15-3 record after their 82-56 league win over Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA).
