Arkansas High School Basketball - Dover knocked off by Atkins
February 6, 2024: Atkins, AR 72823 The Atkins Red Devils basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Dover Pirates to 51 in the Red Devils league triumph on Tuesday.
The Red Devils now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maumelle Charter for a 3A Region 5 contest on Thursday, February 8. Atkins will battle a Falcons team coming off a 68-35 league win over Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR). The Falcons record now stands at 19-12.
The Pirates (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Perryville (Perryville, AR). The Mustangs enter the 3A Region 5 contest with a 10-18 record. In their last contest, Perryville was defeated by Mayflower (Mayflower, AR), 73-42, in a league contest.
