Texas High School Basketball - McDade crushes Buckholts
February 6, 2024: Buckholts, TX 76518 McDade Bulldogs (McDade, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Buckholts Badgers (Buckholts, TX), 81-36 in a league bout.
With the win, McDade upgrades its record to 6-15 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Calvert (Calvert, TX) to play the Trojans in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout on Friday, February 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 15-8. Calvert won 71-41 in their recent league bout against Dime Box (Dime Box, TX)
Next up, the Badgers play the Round Top-Carmine Cubs (Carmine, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 bout, on Friday, February 9. Buckholts will attempt to upgrade on its 0-13 season record. The Cubs go into the bout with a 2-20 record after their 111-33 league loss to Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX).
