February 6, 2024: Trenton, TX 75490 The Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) basketball felled the host Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX), 47-30 in Tuesday's league test.
The Blue Devils (12-15) will now prepare for their bout against Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region II District 14 bout with a 9-17 record. In their last bout, Whitewright was topped by Bland (Merit, TX), 46-41, in a league bout.
Next up, the Tigers clash with the Wolfe City Wolves (Wolfe City, TX) in a 2A Region II District 14 bout, on Friday, February 9. Trenton will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 8-22 record after their 48-36 league loss to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX).
