Georgia High School Basketball - Osborne holds off Cherokee
February 6, 2024: Canton, GA 30114 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Osborne Cardinals (Marietta, GA) and the host Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), saw Osborne's basketball squad hold off Cherokee by a tally of 54-52.
With the victory, Osborne improves its record to 8-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Walton (Marietta, GA) to confront the Raiders in a AAAAAAA Region 5 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 20-4. Walton won 83-45 in their recent league challenge against North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Wheeler Wildcats (Marietta, GA) in a AAAAAAA Region 5 challenge, on Friday, February 9. Cherokee will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 78-47 league win over Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
