North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Raleigh overwhelms Clayton
February 6, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27610 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), saw Southeast Raleigh's basketball squad wallop Clayton by a tally of 93-71.
With the victory, Southeast Raleigh improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to South Garner (Garner, NC) to confront the Titans in a 4A Greater Neuse River challenge on Friday, February 9. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. South Garner won 78-33 in their recent league challenge against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)
Next up, the Comets confront the Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) in a 4A Greater Neuse River challenge, on Friday, February 9. Clayton will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Bengals come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 78-53 league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).
