Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Highland Huskies (Highland, NY), 73-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dover upgrades its record to 5-10 on the season. The Dragons host Hawthorne Valley (Ghent, NY) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-4. Hawthorne Valley lost 53-29 in their recent non-league bout against Rhinebeck (Rhinebeck, NY)

Next up, the Huskies clash with the New Paltz Huguenots (New Paltz, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Huguenots go into the bout with a 10-2 record after their 63-58 league win over Saugerties (Saugerties, NY).
