Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Mifflin overwhelms East Allegheny
February 6, 2024: West Mifflin, PA 15122 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA) and the visiting East Allegheny Wild Cats (North Versailles, PA), saw West Mifflin's basketball squad wallop East Allegheny by a count of 81-55.
With the victory, West Mifflin upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Antelopes in a WPIAL 4A 4 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Antelopes come into the challenge with a record of 12-7. Avonworth won 80-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Brentwood (Pittsburgh, PA)
Next up, the Wild Cats play the South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA) in a WPIAL 4A 4 challenge, on Friday, February 9. East Allegheny will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Gladiators come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 61-39 league win over Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA).
