North Carolina High School Basketball - Eastern Wayne crushes Spring Creek
February 6, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27534 Eastern Wayne Warriors (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 83-57 in a league bout.
With the win, Eastern Wayne upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Warriors host Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to play the Bruins in a 2A Neuse bout on Friday, February 9. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Beddingfield lost 75-72 in their recent league bout against North Johnston (Kenly, NC)
Next up, the Gators play the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Spring Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-15 record after their 61-42 league loss to Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC).
