Texas High School Basketball - Eisenhower can't hold off Westfield
February 6, 2024: Houston, TX 77090 The Westfield Mustangs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Eisenhower Eagles to 61 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 20-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nimitz for a 6A Region II District 14 contest on Friday, February 9. Westfield will battle a Cougars team coming off a 88-25 league win over Aldine (Houston, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 21-11.
The Eagles (6-25) will now prepare for their contest against Aldine (Houston, TX). The Mustangs enter the 6A Region II District 14 contest with a 0-29 record. In their last contest, Aldine was nudged by Nimitz (Houston, TX), 88-25, in a league contest.
