Louisiana High School Basketball - Franklin Parish overwhelms Richwood
February 6, 2024: Monroe, LA 71202 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Franklin Parish Patriots (Winnsboro, LA) and the host Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), saw Franklin Parish's basketball squad wallop Richwood by a tally of 76-45.
With the victory, Franklin Parish improves its record to 22-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Peabody (Alexandria, LA) to confront the Warhorses in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 9. The Warhorses come into the challenge with a record of 27-6. Peabody won 77-15 in their recent league challenge against Grant (Dry Prong, LA)
Next up, the Rams confront the General Trass Panthers (Lake Providence, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. Richwood will attempt to improve on its 17-12 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 3-17 record after their 71-30 league loss to Madison (Tallulah, LA).
