Louisiana High School Basketball - Wossman nips Richwood
January 9, 2024: Monroe, LA 71202 Wossman Wildcats (Monroe, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), 60-59 in a league bout.
With the victory, Wossman upgrades its record to 18-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Bossier (Bossier City, LA) to play the Bearkats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 12. The Bearkats come into the bout with a record of 15-7. Bossier lost 66-64 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)
Next up, the Rams play the North Webster Knights (Springhill, LA) in a 3A District 1 bout, on Friday, January 12. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 13-8 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 54-44 non-league win over Lakeside (Sibley, LA).
