Tennessee High School Basketball - Summit can't hold off Franklin
February 6, 2024: Spring Hill, TN 37179 The Franklin Admirals basketball team scored 68 points and held the host Summit Spartans to 66 in the Admirals league triumph on Tuesday.
The Admirals now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Centennial for a 4A District 10 contest on Wednesday, February 7. Franklin will battle a Cougars team coming off a 49-46 league win over Nolensville (Nolensville, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 16-8.
The Spartans (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Independence (Thompson's Station, TN). The Eagles enter the 4A District 10 contest with a 21-6 record. In their last contest, Independence nudged Ravenwood (Brentwood, TN), 56-44, in a league contest.
